Salary: up to £42,000 per annum + £3,000 car allowance

About the Role
This post is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the Registered Manager in delivering a high quality service for children and young people, and foster carers.
The role involves managing a small team of SSW’s and support workers. The Team Manager is responsible for ensuring that legislative, regulatory, national minimum standards and company requirements are met so that NFA maintains or achieves outstanding performance.
This role will hold a small caseload covering Highland with a specific focus to recruit and develop this area linking with LA’s and existing foster carers. You will cover an extensive geographic area and may be required to stay overnight on occasions. You will be responsible for the growth and development of Moray and Aberdeenshire, alongside the CEO and supervision of SSW staff.
Who we are looking for
You will need to be a qualified social work practitioner registered with the SSSC. You will also have recent experience in fostering and services for children and a good working knowledge of the regulatory framework, plus some previous experience in a line management.
Ideally you will have experience in achieving performance targets and developing services to meet organisational objectives. You will be a strong written and verbal communicator with good IT skills, a flexible and adaptable approach and able to travel to support the growth of the region.
