Location: Home Based, covering the West
Salary: £33,000 dependent on experience

Car allowance: £3,000

We’re looking for a HR Business Partner to overlook a number of our homes and schools in the West Region. Someone who has a passion for excellence and the role HR can play in improving service delivery and managing organisational change would be perfect for this role.

About the role

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing high quality specialist advice and lead on the planning and implementation of HR and organisation development processes within the number of designated schools and residential homes in the West Region.

You will work in partnership with Head Teachers, Principals, Assistant Directors and Registered Managers to establish HR plans necessary to support the successful delivery of quality focused services, the achievement of business goals and the implementation of service development strategies.

The successful candidate will demonstrate best practice and provide support to site specific HR Administrators.

 

Who we are looking for

The HR Business Partner will have the ability to use their own initiative and judgement in dealing with complex problems or queries and providing advice. You will have demonstrable experience providing high quality advice to a range of managers on complex HR issues would be perfect for this role.

 

We are looking for someone who is able to manage issues in a proactive way ensuring value is added to the services delivered.

You will be in your comfort zone building positive working relationships with managers, colleagues and staff at all levels in order to support HR support that aligned with corporate needs.

 

Essential Criteria

  • Degree and Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Professional Qualification plus additional training or equivalent experience to degree level or equivalent
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and conflicting deadlines through effectively prioritising own workload
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of the business and ability to translate business needs into creative HR solutions.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software packages to produce own word processing, basic excel spreadsheets and email.
  • Good understanding of equality and diversity issues and commitment to delivering the Groups Equality Delivery Scheme
